Yes, but in my view, worth the money, especially if you are limited on time like me, and do not have a spare hour just to get the systems going.
The aircraft feels heavy, and yet docile in the air. I certainly did not find that in fact, I was a little late in my turn to finals (as my screenshots will show). I have read on another site that this aircraft "flies like a fighter". The sounds appear to be accurate, and are not done to a deafening level. There does however appear to be a few texture tears in the cockpit, but they are minor, and I quickly learned to ignore them. Anyway, aside from that, frame rates are excellent in all cases, and there is no problems with texture loss, even on my modest computer. I did not use the FMS or the SID's and STARS for this review, as I am somewhat limited on time these days. The cockpit looks "factory fresh", but I would expect this with a 787 any way. You can still use the FMC, and it's very simple to use. This aircraft is indeed a "light sim" in the calibre of the CLS 747. At the moment, there do not appear to be too many repaints out there, so I used a very nice ANA (All Nippon Airways) repaint.
